-Lagune Italian at Wamberal – great authentic Italian pizza and pasta

-The Three Donkeys Wholefood Café, Wamberal – Vegan friendly and delicious, healthy meals for breakfast and lunch. Great coffee too.

-Island Time Cafe in Terrigal for lunch or coffee

-Terrigal has tens of other fabulous restaurants and is less than 10 minutes away.

- Sal & Co has really great breakfast & coffee in Wamberal

-Brown Sugar Bakery at Forresters Beach has delicious bread, pies and pastries

-Firescreek Winery is a fabulous local botanical winery and well worth a visit for wine tasting or a special experience. https://firescreek.com.au/

-For special occasion dinners there are several great restaurants nearby: L'Isle de France, Yellowtail and Arc are all in Terrigal and fabulous by you will probably need to book.

-Last but not least, Long Jetty has a ‘Newtown vibe’ and is about 12 minutes away with a fabulous strip of cafes and eclectic shops.

FAVOURITE WALKS, ATTRACTIONS AND BEACHES:

-Spoon Bay and Forresters Beach are gorgeous and mostly only frequented by locals.

-Walk along the sand from Wamberal Beach to Terrigal Beach cafes and shops. A fabulous 30 minute walk each way.

— Kotandra Reserve is a 5 min drive and offers spectacular bush walks and a picnic spot. Highly recommend this it really is a special place!

-Walk down to the dead end of Matcham Rd and back (turn left from the tiny house property) About a 45 minute walk round trip with beautiful bushland properties and animal and birdlife along the way. Listen to bellbirds as you walk…its lovely.

Markets are often on Saturdays and Sundays and not too far. Check online for dates for Avoca Beach Markets (definitely the biggest and best), Terrigal Beach Markets and Long Jetty Markets.
